Life at the house
The Sicilian countryside just as you picture it: pale stone, the silver-green of the olive trees, a horizon of dry-stone walls and carob trees.
Breakfast happens outside, in the shade, at your own pace. Rushing just never caught on here.
This is the house for people who really want to switch off: no neighbours, no traffic, just the wind in the trees and, at night, more stars than you’ve seen in years. And yet a quarter of an hour away there’s a baroque piazza with a gelato in it, and the sea just beyond.
It’s also the house colleagues choose to unwind together: big enough for everyone, and cared for enough to make you all feel special.
The olive oil in the kitchen comes from these trees. We picked the olives ourselves. Try it on some bread on your first day: it will tell you a lot about this place.
